Better Morning, Inc. is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and prescribing medication in a clinical office environment.
- Responsibilities include meeting with children and adolescents for psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and prescribing and managing medication.
- The successful candidate will be required to adhere to all DEA and FDA regulations regarding prescriptions of medications and maintain current professional licenses.
- Qualifications include a Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, or Medical Doctor with appropriate residency training to practice child and adolescent psychiatry or psychiatric nursing.
- Child/adolescent specialization and board certification are preferred.
- A current valid DEA license and a medical license in good standing with the DC Board of Registration are required.
- Two to three years of prior experience performing evaluations, treatment planning, and prescribing to children and adolescents is necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Experience in prescribing medication to children and adolescents: 3 years (Required)
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license (Required)
