Better Morning, Inc. is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and prescribing medication in a clinical office environment.

  • Responsibilities include meeting with children and adolescents for psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and prescribing and managing medication.
  • The successful candidate will be required to adhere to all DEA and FDA regulations regarding prescriptions of medications and maintain current professional licenses.
  • Qualifications include a Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, or Medical Doctor with appropriate residency training to practice child and adolescent psychiatry or psychiatric nursing.
  • Child/adolescent specialization and board certification are preferred.
  • A current valid DEA license and a medical license in good standing with the DC Board of Registration are required.
  • Two to three years of prior experience performing evaluations, treatment planning, and prescribing to children and adolescents is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license (Required)
