Job Opportunity

Better Morning, Inc. is seeking a skilled Child Psychiatrist or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services to children and adolescents.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry or psychiatric nursing, with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatments and medications in a clinical office environment.

  • Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications as needed.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, adhering to DEA and FDA regulations, and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry or psychiatric nursing is preferred.
  • A valid DEA license and a medical license in good standing with the DC Board of Registration are required.
  • At least two to three years of experience in performing evaluations, treatment planning, and prescribing to children and adolescents is necessary.
Benefits
  • A competitive hourly rate of $100.00 - $120.00.

This is a fee-for-service position, requiring 16-20 hours of work per month. The ideal candidate will be able to sit for extended periods, possess excellent typing and computer skills, and demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
