Job Summary:

The Registered Dietitian (RD) is a key member of our healthcare team at Brio Living Services, providing personalized nutritional care plans for older adults. As a Registered Dietitian, you will apply advanced dietitian knowledge and skills to assess and reassess the nutritional needs of our participants, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective nutrition services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and reassessments to identify individualized care needs
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans to promote optimal health and well-being
  • Provide education and support to participants and caregivers on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care planning and coordination
  • Document participant progress and outcomes in medical records
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of nutrition services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree from an accredited program in nutrition or a related field
  • Completed Dietetic Internship and passed the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) exam
  • Current Michigan Registered Dietitian (RD) status or eligibility to sit for the CDR exam
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • Master's degree and approved work experience preferred
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) status preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with older adults or in a related field
