This role focuses on enhancing global broadband connectivity through the utilization of satellite technology, delivering high-capacity, secure, resilient, and cost-effective solutions with minimal latency and speeds comparable to fiber optics.

The selected candidate will oversee the User Terminal Program, collaborating with external technology partners to develop user terminal solutions tailored for diverse market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and execute multiple vendor programs, managing scope, contracts, work breakdown structures, executive reporting, requirements, and budgets.
  • Oversee user programs, including the management of flat panel antennas.
  • Collaborate with product, program, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Engage with engineering, legal, and contracts teams in relation to selected vendors.
  • Facilitate vendor development by preparing program inputs, addressing challenges, and outlining future plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on communication or satellite terminals.
  • Experience in the satellite communications sector is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera Cloud, Primavera P6, or Jira.
  • Familiarity with modem, RF, electronics, and antenna technologies.
  • Experience working with external vendors, including design and manufacturing partners.
  • PMP Certification is a beneficial asset.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams and provide technical guidance as needed.
  • Manage supplier and contractor interactions during project activities.

Work Environment:

  • This position offers flexibility with full-time office or hybrid arrangements.
  • Occasional travel may be required, including international trips.

Compensation:

Competitive salary range of $125K to $150K, commensurate with experience, along with excellent benefits and bonus opportunities.
