Key Responsibilities

Ensure the accurate boarding of new, renewed, and modified loans on our loan servicing system.

Assist in preparing packages for purchased loans and process entries to update or correct loan information.

Process draws on RLOC and assist with monthly reports to internal stakeholders, partners, and state.

Support the closing department in resolving discrepancies in loan documents and approvals.

Ensure accurate loan payments are collected and processed, and oversee the generation and submission of loan statements.

Work with accounting to manage internal loan refinances and aid the Manager and Director in the Secondary Market Sales process.

Obtain and organize requested loan information for internal and external audits.

Collaborate with the Manager to release collateral upon loan termination and release UCC filings.

Work directly with the Asset Manager on past due loan payments.

Exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing duties.


Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Sophisticated word processing and computer database skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, operations, and regulations.

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels.

Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.

Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines, including extended work hours.

Professional appearance and demeanor.


Education and Experience

Previous loan servicing experience required, preferably in small business or consumer loans.

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Financial services work experience of 3-5 years.

Detailed-oriented and strong organizational skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with other staff members and in a busy environment.


Compensation

$29.00/Hourly, depending on experience and location.
