Role Overview:
Our Termite Control Technicians play a crucial front-line role, embodying the essence of our service. This position focuses on delivering exceptional service through the application of Terminix products to valued clients.

Daily Responsibilities:
Equipped with a company vehicle and comprehensive industry training, our Termite Technicians visit residential properties to perform requested termite treatments. Key tasks include:

  • Ensuring job specifications align with each work order
  • Preparing job sites for treatment
  • Administering anti-termite treatments in accordance with safety protocols and label instructions
  • Engaging with customers to explain the services rendered
  • Completing production forms to document services provided

Qualifications for Success:
To thrive in this role, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. While prior industry experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. More importantly, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Personability and a passion for customer interaction
  • Self-motivation and a robust work ethic
  • Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group settings
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • A basic aptitude for math necessary for service-related calculations

Given the nature of our work, comfort in outdoor environments and confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics is essential. For safety reasons, our Termite Technicians must not have facial hair, as rebreathers must seal properly to the face.

Position Requirements:
Availability to work Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED; customer-facing experience preferred.

Skills and Attributes:
Attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, eagerness to learn about pest control, and comfort with self-directed work conditions after training.

Base Pay Range:
$21.83 per hour. In addition to base pay, colleagues in this role who have completed training may be eligible for additional compensation, including overtime, incentives, and/or commission pay. Total annual earning potential may vary based on performance and assigned routes.
