Position Overview

Are you passionate about maintaining a safe and efficient environment? The Facility Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are in optimal condition. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, while also ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests. Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts inspections and performs maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical installations, and recreational pools.
  • Monitors and adjusts the chemistry and temperature of recreational pools to meet regulatory standards.
  • Ensures the safety of the facility by maintaining fire safety and alarm systems in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Addresses repair requests promptly and prioritizes urgent repairs as needed.
  • Documents all maintenance and repair activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Qualifications
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in facility maintenance or relevant training.
  • Preferred: State-approved Boiler/Engineers License.
  • CFC certification and Aquatics Facilities Operator Certification (AFO) or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) are advantageous.
  • Physical ability to lift over 20 lbs. and to remain mobile throughout the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a Trade or Technical School program.
