The Mechanic is essential in troubleshooting and fixing fleet vehicles and machinery to enhance operational efficiency while reducing equipment downtime.

Core Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, adjust, and repair diverse systems on vehicles and machinery.
  • Assist in preventative maintenance initiatives by executing oil changes, tire rotations, and brake assessments.
  • Address on-road emergency service requests.

  • Consult service manuals and online resources for diagnostics.

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with diesel and compressed natural gas engines.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and fleet management software.
  • Awareness of safety regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems independently.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in servicing diesel engines.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience in the resource recovery sector is advantageous.
  • Certifications and a Class B license are beneficial.
  • Possession of personal tools is necessary.
