About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at AMN Healthcare. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in identifying and addressing speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with clear goals for students with speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment, providing training and resources to support effective strategies.
Key Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- The ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
