Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Center Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in managing daily office operations, ensuring consistency, flow, and achievement of individual and team goals. You will partner with our Regional Operations Manager to drive growth and success within your assigned office location(s).
Key Responsibilities- Manage financial obligations of the center to meet or exceed budget expectations
- Oversee, train, and supervise front desk, surgical, and technical staff operations to ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare ordinances
- Assist in directing physician and patient activities, acting as a liaison between the front and back office to ensure high patient satisfaction and office efficiency
- Identify areas for improvement, research, plan, and develop action plans for implementation
- Establish and oversee orientation, training, and career development for new hires
- Manage and enforce workplace safety and security, as well as legal and regulatory compliance
- Manage staff and physician scheduling, time, attendance, overtime, and time off requests
- Lead and promote a healthy and inclusive work environment through coaching, teamwork, and positive reinforcement
- Evaluate individual performance levels and conduct disciplinary action meetings as needed
- Track and report team development, build a culture consistent with SightMD core values, and adjust training, processes, or staffing as needed
- Maintain corporate standards within the office to ensure brand consistency
- Manage office inventory of medical and office supplies, working closely with procurement to ensure cost and inventory controls
- Associate's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the medical field, with Ophthalmology experience a plus
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong organization and leadership skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure individually and as part of a team
- Open availability to work a rotating schedule
- Advanced computer skills and EMR experience
