Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care by accurately collecting and verifying patient information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and verify patient demographic, contact, and insurance information
  • Obtain and verify patient authorization and consent signatures
  • Work closely with clinical staff, interpreters, and other ancillary areas to respond to patient needs
  • Handle multiple calls and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the facility
Requirements
  • High school degree or GED
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Proficient in the use of computers and medical terminology
  • Ability to type 35 wpm
  • Bilingual skills a plus
