Job Summary

As a Patient Access Representative at Jefferson Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our patients and visitors. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greets patients and visitors upon arrival and identifies their needs.
  • Verifies patient demographic, contact information, insurance, and eligibility information.
  • Obtains authorization/consent signatures and collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
  • Works closely with clinical staff, interpreters, and other ancillary areas to respond to patient needs.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to Corporate and Compliance Guidelines.

Requirements
  • High school degree or GED.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and medical terminology.
