Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Temple Health. As a key member of our Ambulatory Care team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient access to our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate and efficient registration and verification of patient information.
  • Verify insurance coverage and process referrals, ensuring timely access to necessary services.
  • Coordinate scheduling of appointments, lab services, and chemotherapy treatment, utilizing multiple electronic worklists and direct patient interaction.
  • Rotate assignments to various point-of-service areas, applying knowledge of departmental and institutional protocols to ensure compliance.
  • Accept responsibility and accountability for outpatient functions, working under the direction of the Manager, Ambulatory Care Operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • 3 Years experience in a related role; related experience in fast-paced, professional, customer service role can be considered in conjunction with healthcare (Required)
