Job Description

Impact Floors of Texas is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable Function: Process and pay invoices, manage vendor relationships, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Bank Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Sales and Use Tax Reporting: Prepare and submit sales and use tax reports to the relevant authorities.
  • New Vendor Contracts: Develop and maintain new vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Month-End/Year-End Duties: Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
  • Account Auditing: Conduct regular account audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • General Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of accounting or accounts payable experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, and experience with accounting software.
