Avera team*Position Overview
+ Responsible for handling incoming calls, welcoming patients, and maintaining patient and insurance records in the system.+ Validates and assesses health insurance benefits, collects co-payments, and clarifies payment policies and billing/collections procedures.+ Directs messages to the appropriate personnel and coordinates appointments with professional telephone/customer service etiquette.+ Provides Avera Chart information to patients and assists with enrollment as necessary.Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.+ One to two years of relevant experience preferred.Work Schedule
+ Monday-Friday:
6:30am-3:30pm; 8:00am-5:00pm, 10:00am-6:00pm; 80 hours biweekly+ Weekends: approximately every 13th from 9:00am-4:00pm+ Holidays: Clinic is closed on all major holidays.
