We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead the creation of innovative and captivating marketing initiatives that drive growth for our JOHN REED Fitness brand. In this position, you will contribute to the overarching brand and campaign strategy, conceptualize programming and event ideas, oversee daily brand marketing operations, and play a crucial role in realizing our mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and enhance the overall consumer marketing strategy for JOHN REED North America, focusing on both established clubs and new openings.
- Take ownership of crafting marketing and campaign strategies aimed at boosting brand recognition and sales across multiple channels, including social media, email, paid advertising, and out-of-home for JOHN REED North America.
- Supervise the creative development of campaigns in collaboration with the in-house creative team, formulate creative briefs, and provide constructive feedback for copy, digital, video, and print materials.
- Design and lead programming concepts for existing clubs, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale events, partnering with the events manager for execution.
- Develop and implement engaging marketing communications for our current members, primarily through email outreach.
- Oversee local promotional strategies and their execution in established markets.
- Manage and update website content and messaging.
- Establish and monitor goals and performance metrics for campaigns, regularly assessing the effectiveness of strategies and creative approaches, and making recommendations for ongoing enhancements.
- Coordinate project tracking, stakeholder engagement, and budget management to ensure timely completion of all deadlines, deliverables, and objectives.
- Prepare and present clear and persuasive strategy presentations to senior stakeholders.
- Contribute innovative ideas and collaborate with internal teams and departments to bring them to fruition.
Competencies & Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of marketing experience, ideally within a related sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- A strong passion for fitness, music, and lifestyle brands.
- Adept at navigating both strategic and tactical levels with ease.
- High proficiency with digital advertising platforms and analytics.
- Proactive with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities while continuously seeking to advance RSG brands.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to convey information clearly across various modes and understand the unique needs of different departments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor.
- Reliable team player, adaptable in both internal and external collaborations.
- Willingness to travel to various fitness clubs as required.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when necessary (e.g., for events or travel).
