We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support to our clients. This role is crucial in ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6+ months, with potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance.
- Work Schedule: Evening shifts from 02:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Location: Onsite.
- Compensation: $20-22 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a variety of technical tasks either remotely or on-site to fulfill business and client needs.
- Lead small teams in delivering fundamental work packages in accordance with company protocols.
- Maintain documentation and reporting on completed tasks to ensure adherence to company and client standards.
- Address issues following company procedures to meet client expectations and assess escalations for appropriate action.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients to ensure a consistent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Ability to adhere to instructions and established procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in an IT Desktop Service environment.
- Familiarity with information systems and technology applications relevant to the IT industry.
- Organized and methodical approach to work tasks.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic administrative competencies.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills along with fundamental literacy and numeracy abilities.
- Awareness of workplace health and safety standards.
