Job Title: Contracts Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Contracts Administration team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of contract administration, from proposal preparation to closeout.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead contract negotiation and administration activities from proposal through closeout.
  • Assist with customer communications and correspondence, support writing of Contracts Management proposal sections, prepare representations and certifications, OCI sweeps, and review terms and conditions.
  • Administer daily contract activities for various product lines and contract types, including cost reimbursable and firm fixed.
  • Negotiate and terminate standard and non-standard contracts.
  • Interpret, apply, and follow contract acquisition rules, company policies, and customer specifications.
  • Manage data in Costpoint and Contract Management System (CMS) on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of contract information.
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations.
  • Compile and analyze data; maintain historical information.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of contract management experience - OR - Master's Degree with 3+ years of contract management experience.
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with multiple contract types (Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Cost Plus Fixed Fee).
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts at the same time of varying value and risk level.
  • Working knowledge of Government and Commercial contracting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in Defense or Aerospace.
  • Experience with FAR and DFAR regulations.
  • Contract Management Certification (Certified Professional Contract Manager, Certified Commercial Contract Manager, Certified Federal Contract Manager, Certified Contract Management Associate).

Salary Range: $87,700 - $133,100. Salary Range 2: $109,900 - $164,900. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
