DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PUESTO:
Responsable de identificar, solicitar, evaluar y vender nuevas cuentas de Especialidades y renovaciones que impulsen el crecimiento rentable y se alineen con los segmentos de la industria y los objetivos de mezcla de LOB. Aplicar habilidades técnicas, de ventas y analíticas para proporcionar soluciones de seguros que ayuden a los clientes de Hanover a gestionar riesgos. Demuestra un entendimiento profundo de las estrategias y apetitos de Hanover y utilizará datos internos y externos para tomar decisiones adecuadas sobre riesgos individuales y de cartera. Opera con supervisión diaria limitada, busca dirección técnica para asuntos fuera de su autoridad y experiencia general. Opera dentro de una carta de autoridad estándar para todas las decisiones de suscripción mientras gestiona un libro de negocios, generalmente con complejidad técnica moderada a alta y coordinación.

- Conoce y aplica conceptos de suscripción, incluyendo selección de riesgos, identificación y control de exposiciones y peligros, implicaciones de cobertura y análisis de pérdidas.
- Utiliza todas las herramientas, disciplinas y estrategias de suscripción apropiadas para asegurar que se sigan las pautas de suscripción.
- Comprende los componentes de precios y la metodología de calificación y correlaciona los precios con las exposiciones.
- Cuando se presenta con información mínima sobre un riesgo, sabe instintivamente las preguntas clave que hacer para determinar el alcance completo de las operaciones y las exposiciones clave y controles necesarios.
- Completa la documentación del archivo de acuerdo con las mejores prácticas y puede explicar claramente las decisiones de la cuenta.
- Proporciona instrucciones de calificación claras y concisas para cotizaciones antes de generar propuestas para presentación al agente.
- Gestiona la cartera asignada para lograr primas brutas escritas, rentabilidad, tasas, retención, mezcla de productos, nuevos negocios y objetivos de gestión de cartera, utilizando prácticas de marketing y pipeline probadas.
- Desarrolla una comprensión de la información de informes financieros y medidas de rendimiento de seguros en la gestión de riesgos.
- Demuestra comprensión de los factores del mercado que pueden afectar los precios y cómo se correlacionan con el libro individual, el libro de la agencia, la región y a nivel nacional.
- Prepara o analiza información sobre decisiones de suscripción, tasas, requisitos de suscripción, apetito de la compañía, estado y declinaciones para impulsar resultados dentro del territorio asignado.
- Se familiariza con otros departamentos de Hanover para aprovechar el crecimiento en áreas de negocio donde la cartera podría estar más equilibrada.
- Gestión de Ventas:
- Puede identificar, solicitar, crear pipeline, negociar y cerrar cuentas alineadas con la estrategia empresarial. Capacidad para perfilar la planta de la agencia asignada y comercializar estratégicamente nuestras capacidades a los agentes.
- Se mantiene al día sobre cuestiones, regulaciones y tendencias estatales/territoriales.
- Utiliza información del mercado y de competidores para mejorar las relaciones y la toma de decisiones sobre cuentas individuales.
- Prioriza y desarrolla actividades efectivas de gestión de relaciones y productores para construir confianza, facilitar la negociación y asegurar el compromiso para mejorar los rendimientos y las tasas de retención.
- Opera con una perspectiva de franquicia para identificar oportunidades de venta adicionales y crear crecimiento dentro de otros LOB y segmentos de clientes.
- Colabora con otras unidades de negocio para ofrecer soluciones de seguros integrales.
- Demuestra un conocimiento profundo de los productos y apetitos de Hanover mientras comunica claramente la posición de Hanover en el punto de venta.
- Construye y mantiene prácticas de ventas rigurosas utilizando todos los sistemas, herramientas de ventas y disciplinas descritas en las mejores prácticas de ventas.
- Realiza presentaciones a agentes y clientes. Utiliza socios del departamento y de Especialidades para complementar el proceso de ventas. Utiliza eficazmente los servicios de Reclamos y Control de Pérdidas para mostrar servicio y/o experiencia técnica con clientes presentes y futuros.
- Título universitario o experiencia equivalente.
- Más de 3 años de experiencia en Inland Marine o líneas comerciales estándar.
- Más de 3 años de experiencia impulsando relaciones con agencias que resultan en negocios nuevos y renovaciones rentables, así como cuentas complejas.
- Demuestra capacidad para adaptarse rápidamente a cambios, identificar, analizar y resolver problemas, y disposición para estar abierto a nuevas y diferentes formas de pensar.
- Habilidades de comunicación, tanto verbales como escritas, son necesarias.
- Orientado al trabajo en equipo y colaboración.
- Habilidades de priorización y gestión de escritorio son necesarias.
- Capacidad para viajar en automóvil aproximadamente 10-25%.
