Objective and Purpose:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in applying accounting principles and practices to evaluate financial data, generate precise and timely financial reports, and uphold robust accounting control measures. This position also entails executing intricate accounting tasks and overseeing financial transactions within the organization.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and scrutinize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Ensure adherence to all financial reporting deadlines.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Prepare and assess budget versus actual reports, providing variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and regulatory filings.
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
  • Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of financial information through regular audits and assessments.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee and ensure the prompt processing of invoices and payments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Implement and maintain effective cash flow management strategies.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to protect the company’s assets.
  • Guide and mentor junior accounting personnel.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Identify and propose process enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
  • Adopt best practices in accounting and financial reporting.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and experience with financial analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Concur platforms.
  • Experience in multi-site operations.
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • MBA is preferred.

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 / annum
