Objective and Purpose:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in executing advanced financial tasks that contribute to the fiscal integrity and regulatory adherence of the organization.

This position encompasses the generation of financial reports, budget assessments, and management of the general ledger, specifically designed to meet the distinct requirements of a dental service provider.

The Senior Accountant will also support the maintenance of precise financial records, guarantee timely reporting, and bolster the overarching financial strategy of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Generate and evaluate budget versus actual reports, providing insightful variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax submissions and regulatory documentation.
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data through regular audits and reviews.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee the timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding accounts.
  • Implement and maintain effective cash flow management practices.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to protect the company's assets.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Identify and propose process enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
  • Adopt best practices in accounting and financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Concur platforms.
  • Experience in multi-site environments.
  • MBA preferred.

$70,000 to $80,000 / annum
