We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Home Draw Coordinator to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a key member of our Patient Services department, you will be responsible for resolving client concerns regarding patients who require home draws.
Key Responsibilities- Handle all concerns regarding patient home draws, received through various channels, including telephone, written/FAX, and in-person communication.
- Develop and maintain daily logs/schedules to ensure timely completion of home draws by field phlebotomists.
- Document reporting or call history to track department metrics and improve service levels.
- Provide research and resolution on complex issues, including those referred by Client Services.
- Voluntarily back up in-house phlebotomists as needed and provide training to new hires.
- Recognize quality service issues and provide feedback to improve opportunities for improvement.
- Assist Group Leader in delegating work in the absence of the supervisor or manager.
- Phlebotomy skills with 2-3 years of experience in pediatric and geriatric settings.
- 2-5 years of clinical laboratory and/or customer service experience.
- Experience in a Call Center environment, data entry, customer service, and medical or clinical laboratory background are preferred.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Extended periods of focus, sitting, or standing.
- Ability to manage stress and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Medical terminology helpful.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and typing skills.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
