About CARFAXCARFAX is a leading provider of vehicle history reports and other automotive services. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief People Officer to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Chief People Officer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of CARFAX's global people strategy. This includes creating a global workforce planning framework, developing and managing the people budget, designing and implementing effective people policies and programs, and acting as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a global workforce planning framework to ensure CARFAX has the right people with the right skills in the right locations at the right time.
- Develop and manage the people budget in concert with current and future staffing needs.
- Design and implement effective people policies and programs that align with CARFAX's mission, culture, strategy, and business goals.
- Act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team and provide insight, innovative thinking, and problem-solving on critical HR issues.
- Optimize the people team and continuously refine the HR infrastructure by creating and updating policies, programs, and initiatives that drive operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred, certifications in HR field helpful (e.g., SPHR, GPHR).
- At least 10 years leading a global people organization, with a proven history of effective HR leadership in a global environment with a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated strong business acumen and critical thinking skills by understanding and articulating the impact of HR strategies on financial performance and operational effectiveness.
- Effective HR tactician and strategist with a deep understanding of all facets of HR.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret data to drive decision-making and ensure HR initiatives contribute to business outcomes.
- Proficient writer and practitioner of equitable HR policies and strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with ability to connect with people, establish credibility, and trust with all employees.
- Proven ability to work in a demanding environment, both independently and as part of a team, with a hands-on attitude and a willingness to get things done.
