Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment following industry guidelines and standards. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill orders from various departments and ensure timely delivery of medical equipment
  • Clean and validate the functionality of equipment to ensure it meets industry standards
  • Manage inventory and restock medical equipment to maintain optimal levels
  • Prepare OR case carts for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is available
  • Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare staff and patients
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in sterile processing or surgical technology
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of accredited training program
  • Relevant certification (CBSPD or CST)
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control
  • Strong multitasking abilities and basic computer skills

Work Schedule:

  • Alternate weekends required, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department
