Position Summary: The role involves the assembly, repair, and reworking of mechanical assemblies with a focus on efficiency and precision, requiring minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, repair, and rework mechanical assemblies with a commitment to thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Utilize test equipment, fixtures, engineering drawings, and operational method sheets to assemble and test mechanical components.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
  • Conduct functional testing on produced products using specialized testing equipment.
  • Provide support across various production areas as needed.
  • Efficiently collect data using Microsoft Office products and current data collection methods.
  • Manage inventory and perform transactions through our inventory control system.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess an Associate degree in Mechanical Technology or a related field, along with at least one year of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly. Alternatively, candidates with 3-5 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Essential skills include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and assembly specifications.
  • Capability to utilize various mechanical tools and electronic testing equipment (e.g., DMM, Oscilloscope).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a proactive member of a cohesive team.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
