Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to join our team at STAND 8. As a key member of our IT solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our wireless network infrastructure to enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Develop and implement wireless network infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of our large park campus environment.
  • Proof of Concepts and White Papers: Build proof of concepts and write white papers to document the results of these projects.
  • Private 5G and WLAN Solutions: Design, implement, and test Private 5G NR and WLAN solutions to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest advancements in WWAN 5G technology and WLAN wireless networking.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other engineers, project managers, and corporate stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with all requirements and regulations around wireless technology and implement network security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Network Performance and Troubleshooting: Conduct network performance tests, analyze network KPIs, and provide technical support and troubleshooting for wireless network issues.
  • RF Planning and Capacity Planning: Conduct RF planning, capacity planning, and interference management to ensure optimal network performance.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience with WWAN and WLAN Network Engineering with a focus on wireless solutioning.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with 5G technology, wireless networking infrastructure, and network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and VPN.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP), or Juniper Networks Certified Enterprise Routing and Switching Expert (JNCIE-ENT) are highly desirable.
