Job Summary

This is a dedicated Onsite Technical System Manager position working directly at our customers location. The successful candidate will be responsible for the everyday maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training on Motorola Land Mobile Radio Products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Motorola Land Mobile Radio Products.
  • Provide customer training on the use and operation of Motorola Land Mobile Radio Products.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and product developments in the field of Land Mobile Radio.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their technical needs are met.
  • Work closely with the Motorola Solutions team to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
  • Conduct site visits to assess technical requirements and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in one of the following: LMR, RF Systems, Radio Frequency, Radio Communications, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, Networking Equipment or IT.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Must be willing and capable of meeting the requirements to obtain a DHS Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the design and implementation of LAN/WAN networks, Wireless networks, budget analysis, capacity planning, interface analysis, network optimization, Subnet, IT engineering, system design, and zoning support.
  • Analyzes functional business requirements and design specifications for functional activities.
  • Responsible for understanding the needs of the customers and the realities of commercially available IT products, and creating requirements that will allow implementation by the architecture and engineering team using COTS products.
  • Must possess experience of system engineering in one or more areas including telecommunications concepts, computer languages, operating systems, database/DBMS and middleware.
