About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing manufacturing and test processes for Satellite PCBA sub-systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of Satellite PCBA sub-systems.
  • Design and qualify test fixtures, test equipment, and diagnostic software to meet the needs of our manufacturing partners.
  • Work closely with the Design and Manufacturing teams to identify and escalate manufacturing challenges, enforcing DFM and DFT principles.
  • Identify and report product failures to manufacturing and quality teams, and implement corrective actions to prevent future failures.
  • Train operators on the process and support recurring certification programs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Record, analyze, and report process metrics to predict and mitigate process failures, and implement root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Developing test strategies and implementing test setups/processes.
  • Identifying, specifying, designing, and qualifying test fixtures, test equipment, and diagnostic software.
  • Enforcing DFM and DFT principles to ensure manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Recording, analyzing, and reporting process metrics to predict and mitigate process failures.
  • Root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent future failures.
  • Managing configuration changes and enforcing configuration control throughout the process.
