Key Responsibilities
  • Production Order Management
    • Issue and close production work orders in a computer-based Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
    • Physically manage and deliver production materials to the assembly line
  • Inventory Control
    • Perform inventory transfers in the MRP system
    • Monitor inventory levels and track scrap amounts
  • Documentation and Quality Control
    • Prepare, maintain, and review production paperwork, adhering to good documentation practices
    • Inspect incoming and outgoing products and materials
  • Additional Duties
    • Assist with warehouse and shipping tasks as needed
    • Perform administrative and office duties as required
    • Support inventory audits and purchasing activities
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Skills and Abilities
      • High computer proficiency, with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
      • Ability to convert and accurately use various units of measure
      • Good documentation practices and math skills
      • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
      • Able to lift 50 pounds and perform regular physical tasks
      Preferred Qualifications
      • 2+ years of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
      • MRP system experience
