Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Highland Park Community Development Corp. As a key member of our social services department, you will play a critical role in supporting families experiencing homelessness and providing access to mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans to support families in need.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to provide resources and referrals.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to families.
  • Participate in case conferences and consultations to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Assess family needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Document all interactions and progress made with families.

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Licensure (LMSW) or within three months of hire.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social services or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year.
