Area IT Manager

The Opportunity
We are seeking an Area IT Manager who has a strong background in implementing and maintaining technology systems, and who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are working properly and efficiently, and for providing technical support and guidance to our team members.
Responsibilities
- Support all events for Allegiant Stadium as well as other local events in the Vegas valley as needed
- Primary point of contact for all Information Technology related systems at Allegiant Stadium
- Ensure point of sale and other supporting systems are in full operation and ready for upcoming events
- Prioritize projects and issues and escalate to Regional IT as necessary
- Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of products and maintain full operational status
- Develop a relationship and regular communication with vendors to ensure proper system support & maintenance
- Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of system installations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Participates in regularly scheduled calls with Home Office IT and vendors to review & address outstanding issues
- Communicate issues and resolution progress to relevant location, regional, and Home Office personnel as needed
- Maintain inventory counts and status of all technology systems
- Ensure systems and servers are properly patched, on a consistent version of software, and running in a stable environment
- Manage the troubleshooting, resolution, and documentation of technical issues related to hardware, software, etc.
- Analyze IT infrastructure and performance of systems to assess the needs of the business.
- Reviews and evaluates current technology and future business needs and works with Digital Strategy to make recommendations for improvements
- Lead and follow up with vendor resources, on-site support, or location personnel teams while working on any given project
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience,
equivalent skill set. - Knowledge of implementing hardware and software in the hospitality industry.
- Previous IT/systems leadership experience.
- Proven experience in configuring, maintaining and supporting technology systems, such as POS systems and digital ordering platforms.
- Effective problem solver with strong attention to detail.
- High-energy, self-motivated, action oriented, positive and humble attitude, flexible, hard-working, high level of integrity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule & Travel
- Ability to work long shifts
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Travel up to 25% throughout the Southwest region as needed
