Senior Test Engineering Manager for Medical Devices

DEKA Research and Development, located in Manchester, NH, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineering Manager to lead our Design Verification team. This exciting opportunity plays a vital role in the success of our medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Test Engineers and Technicians to develop comprehensive test suites that verify the functionality of breakthrough medical products.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, System Engineers, and other technical leads to plan and execute project goals.
- Develop robust test plans, strategies, and reports to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the development of product requirements to ensure they are complete and testable.
- Evaluate the impact of design changes on testing and approve or reject changes as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Test Engineering in an R&D environment for electrical-mechanical devices, preferably in the medical industry.
- 1+ year of leadership experience.
- Ability to create clear objectives, write procedures, and motivate a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Strong communication and estimation skills to create predictable schedules.
- Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSRs) and/or ISO 13485 is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
