Job Title: Appian Frontend Development Lead

GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled Appian Frontend Development Lead to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver impactful features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance on Appian product configuration and mapping of requirements to Appian objects and process flow.
  • Design review, performance testing, scaling, and industry-specific knowledge.
  • Lead team of Appian Consultants and ensure timely delivery of project-related tasks.
  • Responsible for designing, creating high-level solutions, and implementation of solutions for customers.
  • Review and guidance of project teams in Appian BPM Solution design, Process modeling, Solution development, and System and Application integration approaches.
  • Liaison with customers to collect, clarify, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical design and implementation.
  • Produces rulesets, configurations, process workflows, and technical solutions for development and supports requirement gathering sessions.
  • Collaborates closely with stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the client enterprise.
  • Creates and maintains business process and technical documentation, including workflows, architecture diagrams, interface diagrams, and design best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or commensurate experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT with responsibilities in Application Development, Business Process Management, and/or Enterprise Application Integration (SOA) with Appian or other BPM tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations.
  • 3+ years of experience in Enterprise Application integration (SOA, ESB) and n-tier client-server architectures.
  • 3+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies.
  • 3+ years of Business Architecture, including identifying and decomposing business capabilities.
  • 3+ years of Business Process modeling and optimization experience.
  • 3+ years of recent hands-on experience with Appian.
  • 3+ years of experience developing Appian Plugins.
  • 3+ years of working knowledge of Application Servers like JBoss, Weblogic, IIS, Tomcat.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years of recent work experience on a software development project in a federal government setting.
  • Certified Level 3 Appian Developer.
  • Exposure to common industry platforms and programming languages.
  • Experience working with Appian Sites.
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile Framework.
  • Orchestration of modeled process through a Workflow application.
Clearance Required:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/Suitability clearance.
