Job Summary:

Wynne Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department in Hampton, Virginia. As the Automotive Parts Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective processes to ensure customer satisfaction, promoting and merchandising parts and accessories, maintaining accurate inventory controls, and leading and training department employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Development and Implementation: Develop, communicate, enforce, and monitor effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Parts Promotion and Merchandising: Promote and merchandise parts and accessories in conjunction with other store locations.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory and proper counter procedures.
  • Warranty and Return Claims: Submit all parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit.
  • Service Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Department to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
  • Employee Training and Development: Train and lead parts department employees.
  • Certification: Complete and maintain Ford certification.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior parts management experience required.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with CDK preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Superior customer service and interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license and willingness to submit pre-employment background check, DMV record check, and drug screening.
