The Automotive Technician role is essential for ensuring the efficient diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of customer vehicles. From day one, you will engage in a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the necessary skills for success in this position. As a vital member of our team, you will perform various repair services while striving to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Compensation:
Pay ranges from $18.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Conduct brake, suspension, tire installation, and scheduled maintenance services.
- Obtain customer approval for repairs based on thorough diagnostics.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and execute necessary repairs.
- Safely test drive vehicles and manage inventory pickups as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and provide guidance to General Service Technicians.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ownership of basic automotive tools or participation in a tool purchase program.
- Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- A customer-focused mindset.
- Possession of an Automotive Technician State Inspector's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE certification in at least one of the A1-A8 categories.
- Completion of an automotive technical school program or degree.
