Nationwide Private Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Territory Manager to join our Surety Underwriting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of surety business, developing and executing business plans, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Research: Monitor market conditions, gather information, and conduct research to identify new business opportunities and assess the risk of existing accounts.
- Account Management: Analyze and evaluate complex accounts, make strategic decisions, and develop business plans to drive growth and profitability.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and negotiate agreements to drive revenue growth.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with agencies, producers, and internal stakeholders to establish Nationwide Private Client as the provider of choice for surety products.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, and share expertise with colleagues.
- Performance Management: Monitor business plan results, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to drive growth and profitability.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible surety underwriting experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
This is a remote position that requires extensive travel in the field. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required.
