Facilities Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to lead our maintenance programs, ensuring the successful installation, servicing, and repair of various equipment and systems. This role involves coordinating the development of detailed work instructions, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to update outdated or incorrect instructions, and making improvements to training guides and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with SMEs to create and update work instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures
  • Manage departmental budgets and coordinate with contractors for building permitting and project management
  • Utilize Oracle, Jira, or similar platforms to manage projects and schedules, and experience with Primavera or similar platform for scheduling
  • Develop Gantt charts and utilize AutoCad skills to support maintenance operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing/servicing facilities maintenance
  • Experience managing a team of at least 4-10 people
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
