About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Client Partner to join our team. As a Client Partner, you will be responsible for developing and executing a relationship management plan to drive revenue growth and increase client satisfaction. You will work closely with our Client Director to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, while creating referenceable customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute an effective relationship management plan to position Dow Jones as the partner of choice for media solutions.
- Own the client relationship, proactively seeking opportunities to establish a strong partnership that leads to high levels of retention and satisfaction.
- Maintain deep industry sector knowledge, keeping abreast of industry trends and evangelizing the value of Dow Jones products and solutions.
- Qualify opportunities by quickly grasping a client's complex business subject matter, defining the vision for delivering strategic and tangible business value using Dow Jones products and solutions.
- Work collaboratively with industry sector and solutions teams to produce proposal presentations and documentation in a timely manner.
- Closing media sales opportunities in line with revenue targets.
- 5+ years of client sales experience, with prior advertising sales experience.
- Industry sector experience and/or understanding is required, with key industries including Consulting, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Logistics, AgTech, Advocacy, and Supply Chain.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of client service and drive revenue growth while managing multiple clients.
- Must work with internal stakeholders across Dow Jones to deliver market-leading client solutions and partnership propositions.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Google productivity applications.
- Knowledge of or similar CRMs.
- Strong one-on-one and group presentation skills are essential.
- Strong knowledge of effective use of syndicated research and campaign performance metrics as sales tools.
- Willingness to travel and ability to work in office/active market 3x/week.
