Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Assistant for our esteemed practice specializing in Oculoplastic Surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic medical records and a solid understanding of medical terminology.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves a variety of tasks, including:

  • Welcoming patients and guiding them from the waiting area to the examination rooms.
  • Documenting patient histories and medication details in the electronic medical record system.
  • Conducting vision assessments and ensuring surgical instruments are properly sanitized.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of examination rooms and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Assisting in visual field examinations as required.
Work Environment

This position requires flexibility, as the Medical Assistant will work across two designated areas within the practice. The role may involve supporting one or two physicians during shifts.

Requirements

Applicants must be fully vaccinated and should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred).
Schedule and Compensation

This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Expected working hours will be discussed during the interview process.
