Texas Recruitment Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, which includes sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. This role is pivotal in driving employment marketing strategies, managing internal referral programs, and establishing metrics for employee engagement and retention.
The specialist will formulate recruitment strategies and execute sourcing campaigns across the organization. Responsibilities include not only identifying and screening candidates but also developing corporate policies related to talent benchmarking, assessment, and interviewing standards. Collaboration with various departments, including legal, will ensure compliance with employment regulations.
Essential Skills and Competencies

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Effective time management skills and adaptability to shifting priorities.

- Self-driven and capable of thriving in a dynamic and varied work environment with minimal oversight.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and proactively build a pool of qualified candidates to meet future needs; conduct screenings, interviews, and facilitate background checks and reference validations as necessary.
- Develop and implement local and regional recruitment strategies utilizing traditional sourcing methods while exploring and recommending innovative channels for both active and passive candidates.
- Engage with community networks and coordinate college recruitment initiatives by participating in job fairs and maintaining communication with career centers.
- Regularly follow up with hiring managers to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and their implementation.
- Prepare and submit routine reports to the Recruitment Manager using a standardized format.
