Job Title: Relationship Manager

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our team in Northern California, San Francisco, or Sacramento metro areas. This is a field-based role, requiring you to reside within the territory. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for achieving retirement plan retention and growth in revenue and assets through informed and loyal advisors, sponsors, and participants.

About the Job

In this role, you will develop strategic relationships with advisors, TPAs, plan sponsors, and the JH team, maintaining the highest standard of excellence in advisor service by attending to inquiries/requests. Your responsibilities will include training advisors and their support staff in the use of JH tools and resources, establishing yourself as a retirement plan leader within the region, and implementing asset maximization and retention strategies. Our ideal candidate will have three to five years of similar experience, life insurance and variable licenses, and industry designations such as AIF, APA, APR, ChFC, CLU, CEBS, CFA, CFP, QKA, QPA, QPFC, RIA.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop strategic, mutually beneficial relationships with advisors, TPAs, plan sponsors, and the JH team.
  2. Maintain the highest standard of excellence in advisor service by attending to inquiries/requests.
  3. Train advisors and their support staff in the use of JH tools and resources.
  4. Establish yourself as a retirement plan leader within the region and as a source of creative solutions for advisors.
  5. Maintain plan retention and contribute to profitable growth.
