We are seeking an experienced Strategic Actuarial Consultant to join our team at Bruno. As a key member of our actuarial practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting our public sector retirement benefits consulting business in the West Region.

About the Role

The Strategic Actuarial Consultant will be responsible for providing expert actuarial advice and guidance to clients, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, and developing strategic solutions to complex retirement benefits challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their issues and needs, and navigating various potential solutions.
  • Innovate and enhance client deliverables, driving industry presence and market growth.
  • Provide creative and strategic expertise on retirement benefits issues, collaborating with colleagues to build influential client relationships.
  • Lead and participate in new business development initiatives, targeting existing and prospective clients.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in employee benefits consulting or a related professional services environment.
  • Exposure to retirement plan strategies, concepts, and implementation in the public sector.
  • An undergraduate degree; ASA accreditation is required (FSA preferred).
  • A proven ability to step into a direct client contact role.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership ability.
  • Demonstrated success in managing client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and develop actionable solutions.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
