Job Overview

Kanza Mental Health is seeking a skilled Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Individual and Family Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or family therapy with an active license to practice in Kansas. Two plus years of experience providing individual and family therapy services are required.

This role involves providing integrated, evidence-based care that addresses both mental health and substance use concerns. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and effectively within a team environment, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with clients, families, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of individuals referred to the ACT program.
  2. Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  3. Provide individual therapy sessions to clients, focusing on skill-building, symptom management, and recovery goals.
  4. Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing coping skills, social support, and overall well-being.
