Job Title: Product Engineer

At G-TECH Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team. As a Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of on-board diagnostic (OBD) solutions for powertrain technologies.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented engineer with experience in OBD diagnostics and test cases. The successful candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development, programming skills, and knowledge of Boundary Diagrams, P Diagrams, and FMEAs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Review existing HPCM (Hybrid Powertrain Control Module) OBD / diagnostic software.
  • Develop DVMs (Design Verification Methods) for OBD systems.
  • Develop OBD related documentation (Calibration Guidelines, Diagnostics Operations Summary, Fault Demonstration Methods/test cases, CARB decks).
  • Execute diagnostic routines, report test results, and give recommendations to improve system reliability and durability.
  • Perform HIL/SIL, on-road, emissions, and/or dynamometer data collection to validate and calibrate diagnostic monitoring capability of new powertrain technologies.
  • Identify and aid in resolving OBD issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 1 year minimum experience in automotive product development.
  • BSEE, BSME and/or BS-Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with OBD diagnostics and test cases.
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and validating embedded software.
  • Programming experience using modern software languages with knowledge of embedded software development tools/processes.
  • Knowledge and use of Boundary Diagrams, P Diagrams, and FMEAs.
  • Excel and Matlab working knowledge.
