Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled professional to become a Licensed Customer Service Representative at the Heidi Rowan Insurance Agency. This role is dedicated to ensuring our clients receive exceptional support regarding their claims, policy inquiries, and billing matters.

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of property and casualty insurance claims, ideally with a background in the insurance sector, along with outstanding investigative abilities. This position emphasizes providing excellent research assistance to our retention teams while also managing various administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address inquiries related to claims and follow up on ongoing claims matters.
  • Employ strong research capabilities to resolve issues concerning claims, billing, brokers, and other intricate matters.
  • Assist sales personnel with policy quotations at brokerage firms.
  • Manage brokerage plans, including commercial service tasks.
  • Perform backend office functions such as data entry, record-keeping, and document organization.
  • Support in-house retention specialists and provide backup for customer service calls as required.
  • Keep meticulous and precise records of issues and resolutions pertaining to claims, billing, brokers, and other complex situations.

Qualifications
  • Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Experience with Remote Work (Preference for candidates who can work a hybrid schedule or are located in the Pacific time zone)
  • Prior experience in claims processing, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong customer service background focused on delivering outstanding client experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional record-keeping abilities.
  • Proficient in Windows 11, Outlook, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and responsibilities.
