Job SummaryThe Division of Educational Studies at Keuka College is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach the Educational Psychology course in an online or hybrid format. This 3-credit course explores the application of psychological findings and principles related to education, examining individual learning and behavioral differences in diverse populations. The instructor will be responsible for teaching the course, as well as other duties such as office hours, course preparation, and student assessment.
Responsibilities- Teach EDU 355 Educational Psychology, a junior/senior-level course offered online.
- Work with division faculty to ensure effectiveness within the position.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards colleagues and students.
- Attend training and meetings as required.
- Demonstrate high standards of integrity and adhere to institutional policies.
- Maintain student privacy in accordance with FERPA policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance is expected.
- Demonstrated experience in a K-12 classroom setting.
- Demonstrated experience teaching college-level education courses.
- A graduate-level degree related to education.
- Ability to teach multiple learners.
- Understanding of current educational theories and philosophies.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure and with diverse groups.
- Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
$1,000 per course credit
