Job Summary

Roto Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance & Administration to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures, and mitigating risks associated with contracts and related legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models and systems to analyze and forecast company performance, provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and ownership, and monitor project financial performance against budgets.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and accounting standards, and present financial reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow to support operational needs and strategic initiatives, optimize working capital by monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels, and implement cash management policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
  • Legal Oversight: Review and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners, provide input on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management issues, and collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial and legal risks facing the organization, develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial and legal risks and safeguard company assets, and ensure compliance with internal controls, legal regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Operations Planning: Collaborate with senior management and ownership to develop long-term plans and objectives, provide financial and legal analysis to support strategic decision-making and investment opportunities, and evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and growth opportunities from both financial and legal perspectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance and legal teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, set clear goals and expectations for the teams, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, or JD preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial management, legal oversight, and contract negotiation, preferably in the construction, design, or related industry.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Familiarity with legal principles, contract law, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial performance and mitigating legal risks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovational environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in financial management software, legal databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
