Position: SOC Reporting Manager

The SOC Reporting Manager plays a pivotal role in the financial services sector, overseeing the management of risk consulting services. This position is designed for professionals who are looking to advance their careers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with client leadership to design and enhance controls, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of business processes and information technologies.
  • Develop internal control documentation for engagements, including narratives and process flows.
  • Guide clients on strategic initiatives and emerging risks related to information technology.
  • Manage SOC attestation and third-party opinion services.
  • Support compliance engagements for financial statements and Sarbanes-Oxley, focusing on application and IT general controls.
  • Evaluate IT security policies and controls across client technology infrastructures.
  • Document and assess application controls, particularly automated ones, across various ERP systems.
  • Identify and evaluate internal IT controls, determining their effectiveness and developing remediation strategies.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to client personnel.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and client sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five years in business process controls, IT risk management, or related fields.
  • Experience in leading engagements and managing project financials.
  • Proven ability to mentor staff and manage team workloads while meeting client expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of information technology controls, particularly in widely used financial applications.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
