Position Overview:
The Project Coordination Specialist plays a pivotal role in guiding cross-functional teams through the daily operational and tactical aspects of small-scale projects. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing project delivery to achieve objectives while adhering to budgetary constraints. Additionally, support will be provided for larger projects and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project scope, requirements, and budget for prioritized small projects.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans that identify risks and break down requirements into actionable tasks.
3. Ensure all project documentation is current, complete, and properly managed.
4. Communicate project status and relevant information to stakeholders and team members.
5. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, identifying potential issues and implementing contingency plans.
6. Apply project management methodologies and maintain project standards throughout the lifecycle.

Additional Duties:
1. Verify final project deliverables, close financial accounts, and archive project records.
2. Coordinate meetings, distribute minutes, and monitor project schedules.
3. Develop and maintain project documentation including Gantt charts, reports, and management presentations.
4. Administer and maintain various databases and systems relevant to the business area.
5. Assist in managing contractor hours, pay, and budgets as necessary.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Office Administration, Business, or a related field.
2. Experience in managing small-scale projects, including budget and schedule oversight.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management software.

Work Environment:
This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, requiring the ability to operate various office equipment and travel as needed. Physical demands may include lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds.
