We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Early Childhood Development Specialist to join our team at Project Brilliance, an ABA therapy company dedicated to providing exceptional care to children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities.

Compensation: $19-$20 per hour, with a probationary rate of $16-$17 for the first 60 days until RBT credentialing is obtained. Project Brilliance offers training and support to ensure our team members succeed in their role.

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Development Specialist, you will work one-on-one with young children, providing personalized therapy and support to help them reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing individualized therapy sessions to children, as well as leading or assisting in peer play and social groups.
  2. Helping children acquire new skills and working towards tailored goals in areas such as communication, social interaction, problem-solving, and adaptive living skills.
  3. Using evidence-based teaching methods, behavior change strategies, and data collection to track progress.
  4. Collaborating with BCBA's to provide feedback on child progress and develop effective treatment plans.
  5. Teaching children essential social behaviors and ensuring their safety during indoor and outdoor activities.
  6. Assisting with daily living tasks, such as potty training or changing diapers, as needed.

Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field is required, with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification preferred but not necessary. Experience with ABA therapy is a plus, but we provide training for our team members.
